The main event that started at around 9 pm had everyone at the edge of their seats as they were highly anticipating the drama. However, as soon as the play started, there was a pin drop silence in the entire hall as everyone watched the play with rapt attention. The play was marvellous, the actors and actresses performed stunningly and was able to embody all the elements of their characters. The changing of props between scenes was also done in a quick and professional manner by the team in charge – kudos to them!

The play ended at around 11 pm after a standing ovation from the crowd. Everyone looked satisfied as they walked out of the hall after a photography session with the actors and actresses. A member from the audience, Harith Haziq said, “I really love how the drama expresses the rich and the poor and how they are treated differently due to the difference in their social classes. I believe that the purpose of this drama is to promote Chinese culture and also to promote moral values such as love, kindness and being considerate towards the people around you. I really enjoyed the drama because it really shows how society works, as long as you have money, you can always be above the law.”
