\”First of all, I want to thank all my team members for putting effort in training themselves for the past few months, training together with them had been very motivating. Swimming isn\’t a popular sport, and even less well known in UNITEN. A couple of friends and I managed to re-establish the swimming club and came this far thanks to the support of our club members.\” said Hoo Kai Wei.
Besides, Hoo added \”I want to thank the Sports and Cutural Unit (USK), the Student Affairs Centre (HEP) and everyone involved with our club. I bid a job well done to UNITEN swimming club competitive team in acquiring medals in MASISWA swimming championship 2016. Our training had definitely paid off. I hope that we don\’t stop improving our swimming skills and promote this sport to all UNITEN students.\”
Overall, UNITEN ranked number 8 among 11 universities competed in this competition. The first, second and third ranks go to Sunway University, TarUC and Taylor\’s University respectively.
NADi UNITEN would like to express our heartfelt congratulations to UNITEN swimming club for this achievement and we hope for the best on your future endeavours.
