The government has made it possible for all sorts of individuals to receive their vaccine jab as soon as possible. With the various ways that have been offered, one can easily register themselves to be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine shots in the current ongoing vaccination programme run by the government. We are here to guide you on the ways to register and the steps that come with it so you don’t find yourself stuck in the middle of registering and missing out on the opportunity!

 1. MySejahtera App

Perhaps the simplest and shortest method of registering, MySejahtera app is an application that you can easily find and download on your phone’s respective app stores.

Once you have opened the app, you will come across the ‘COVID-19 Vaccination’ icon. This is where you will go to for everything related with your vaccination.

Ensure that your personal details are all correct so that you will become verified.

Once verified, you will have to answer a few questions regarding the vaccine—your consent, any history with your health and so on. Once you have answered all questions, press the ‘Submit’ button located on the bottom right corner of your screen and you’re all set! Only time stands between you and finally getting protected from the pandemic!

Of course, there are other methods you can opt if MySejahtera isn’t available for you. One of them is through the Jawatankuasa Khas Jaminan Akses Bekalan Vaksin COVID-19 (JKJAV) website or . Upon entering the website, you will come across the following picture:

To register through the website, just click on the ‘Daftar Sekarang’ button for the Bahasa language, and the button stays at the same place should you wish to change to the other 3 languages available.

The only thing left for you to do is to fill up the information required that appears and click the ‘Submit’ button at the end of the page and you’re all set!

  1. Hotline

You can also go for the registration hotline by calling up the number 1800-888-828 in which you will have to provide your personal information as they run you through the process of registering.

  1. Manual Registration

The manual way is by going to hospitals and clinics—whether it be private or public and stating your purpose of wanting to register for the vaccine.

  1. Door-to-Door

This is more of an initiative to reach out to the elderlies in the rural areas as they do not have as much convenience as some others do.

With the options laid out on the table being a variety, one should definitely be able to get themselves registered and primed up to get the vaccine in order to combat the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic in Malaysia. The next step is only to get yourself ready to go out and finally get vaccinated!
