PUTRAJAYA, 29th December – IET Uniten On Campus has organized a photoshop workshop to guide students on the fundamentals of using Adobe Photoshop on 28th December 2016 from 6.30pm at College of Computer Science and Information Technology (CSIT), UNITEN. The Adobe Photoshop software is one of the most used tools for editing photos, graphics design and creating digital arts.
However, this software is a high-end editor which have a wide range of functions and tools that can turn up to be non-user friendly tool to those who are not well-verse with it, particularly beginners. With that, IET UNITEN has invited Dr Jaspaljeet Singh of the Department of Information Systems, CSIT to give more insights on the usage of this software.
“Everyone can use photoshop at its fundamental level. But to utilise this tool to its fullest, being well-verse in the know-hows of its respective functions is definitely important. I would like to express my gratitude towards Dr Jaspaljeet for conducting this workshop and also Mr Alan Cheah for introducing Dr Jaspaljeet to us.” said the program director, Lim Jen-Kynn.
A mini competition was then held at the end of the event, which requires participants to apply what they have learned in this workshop in accordance to various themes given to them. The winner for the best poster design went to Nur Amira Syalyatie binti Sulaiman, who has designed a poster for an upcoming IET event entitled \”Raspberry Pi Workshop\”.
