Murni Annual General Assembly – Student Activity Card Launching Ceremony

PUTRAJAYA, 30TH MAY – In conjunction with the start of Semester 1 2017/2018, Murni Annual General Assembly was held on the 24th  May 2017 at Kelompok Murni\’s parking lot from 8.00 pm to 11.00 pm. Organized by Persatuan Pelajar Kelompok Murni (PPKM), the highlight of this assembly was the Student Activity Card Launching Ceremony that took place after the general assembly. The Student Activity Card was introduced to the students and management to keep track of students\’ participation in PPKM\’s events.

This event was officiated by Dato’ Prof. Ir. Dr. Kamal Nasharuddin bin Mustapha, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN). In his officiating speech, he mentioned that this was his first time joining an event run by Kelompok Murni and is looking forward to join more. He also congratulated Kelompok Murni for being the first kelompok to organize an event this semester.

After the launching ceremony, the Best Student Award was presented by Dato’ Prof. Kamal to Soo Mei Teng, President of PPKM 16/17 for her contributions during her term of service for two years in PPKM.  Surprised, she thanked the Principals and Fellows of Kelompok Murni for giving her the opportunity to be the President for PPKM. “I have learnt a lot during my term and I am glad that I have my committee members to learn and grow with me,” said Soo Mei Teng.

 

 

The event ended with refreshments for the VIP guests.
