KUALA LUMPUR, 14th January- The results of the annual E-Genting Programming Competition (EGPC) were announced last Saturday on the 14th of January at Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur with Mokhdzani Faeq Bin Mohamed Fauad, a Software Engineering student from UNITEN achieving third place. The competition, which was held at Wisma Genting, Kuala Lumpur on the 12th of November last year from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, was well received by participants all over Malaysia.

Mokhdzani Faeq received a cash prize of RM 2,000 as well as an Internship placement. Unfortunately, the internship period will be sometime around 2018, so he has yet to confirm whether he will be accepting it.
Mokhdzani was awestruck with his achievement, yet remained humble with himself. “I was stunned actually. I never thought I would be listed in the top three, given the high standard of the other nominees. It took a while to sink in” he said cheerfully.
Since the first EGPC in 2002, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) has left good names in the competition. However, Mokhdzani has done UNITEN proud by being the first student from UNITEN to place in the top three. Kudos to Mokhdzani for his hard work and spectacular efforts. NADi UNITEN congratulates you and wishes you all the best for your future endeavours.
