The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) is preparing a new draft on Tobacco and Smoking Control Act which is currently under review by the Attorney General Chambers of Malaysia.
The new draft to be implemented includes reinforcement of sales control, prohibition of advertising and promotion as well as prohibition for those who were born on 1st January 2007 onwards.All controls and prohibitions will include all tobacco products as well as other smoking materials ingredients, including electronic cigarettes and vapes.
